Professional irrigation

Gros.farm supports irrigation by schedule and accumulated solar radiation. The cloud service calculates and sends the configuration, while the local node executes it at the facility.

Irrigation overview during normal operation

Overview page

On the General tab, select a greenhouse and date to check system status, daily indicators, and the run schedule. The timeline shows planned and completed runs, including technical and Safety runs.

The status at the top indicates whether the system is operating normally, is in Safety mode, or requires setup. This is informational: verify the actual equipment state on site before working with it.

Modes

Time slots

For each slot, set the start time and dose, either by run time or by volume if the system has been calibrated.

Accumulated radiation

Irrigation is scheduled according to accumulated solar energy within a set time window. You can define a minimum interval between starts. This mode requires a correctly connected and configured radiation data source.

Calibration

Calibration links run time to the system’s actual flow rate. Before using volume-based doses, verify the number of outlets, measured flow, and zone area.

Technical irrigation

Radiation mode includes an optional technical start based on a set of conditions. Its operation depends on the selected thresholds and correctly configured required sensors.

Safety schedule

The safety schedule is a simplified local scenario for loss of connectivity or unavailable data. It does not replace emergency automation or equipment protection.

Manual control

When manual control is available, a user can temporarily start or stop irrigation. Before confirming, check the selected greenhouse, the equipment state, and whether the operation is permitted on site. A manual command does not replace the main and Safety schedules.

Before use

Check the control node, data sources, calibration, and both the main and safety schedules. A new configuration becomes active only after it is explicitly applied.

Irrigation setup and safety must be approved by the person responsible for the facility’s engineering systems.
