Gros.farm product boundaries
Not a replacement for local automation
Gros.farm does not replace PLCs, controllers, SCADA, or local emergency scenarios. The local control layer remains responsible for physical operation and safety. Gros.farm adds cultivation plans, data, analytics, schedules, and production context.
Not a sensor-only system
Data can be entered manually, received from sensors, local automation, or external APIs, or calculated by the system. Proprietary hardware is not a requirement for every workflow.
Not a standard to-do list
Tasks are connected to a facility, growing cycle, cultivation-plan stage, date, and assignee. They are part of the production process, not a separate list of reminders.
Not a replacement for a specialist
Gros.farm helps owners, agronomists, technologists, and team members work with shared context, but it does not make agronomic or engineering decisions for them.
No universal guarantees
The actual effect depends on the cultivation technology, facility, equipment, data quality, and team processes. Gros.farm does not guarantee yield, profit, or compatibility with every type of equipment without an assessment and integration setup.
